Customs Clearance Origin

The procedures for goods to be exported/cleared out of the country/port of departure.

Customs Clearance Destination

The procedures for goods to be imported/cleared out of the country/port of entry.

Origin Certificate Services

A Certificate of Origin (CO) is an important international trade document that certifies that goods in a particular export shipment are wholly obtained, produced, manufactured or processed in a particular country. They declare the ‘nationality’ of the product and also serve as a declaration by the exporter to satisfy customs or trade requirements

Phytosanitary Certificate Services

A phytosanitary certificate is an official document that is issued by a national plant protection organization (NPPO), and indicates that consignments of plants, plant products or other regulated articles meet the specified phytosanitary requirements of an importing country.

Inland Services - Origin

The transportation of goods at the owner's warehouse to the port of departure/origin.

Inland Services - Destination

The transportation of goods at the port of destination/entry to the owner's warehouse (the impoter).

House Transport Document Service

A service provided by the carrier to perform additional administration when a forwarder issues a House Bill of Lading. More specifically, the carrier will issue an Original Bill of Lading (B/L)/Transport Document (TPDOC) based on the House Bill of Lading documentation provided by the forwarder. In addition, if applicable the carrier will file the actual details with the US Customs

Origin Certificate Charge

This service covers Certificates issued regarding vessel age, vessel conditions etc, in-house ML certificates at Origin. It does not cover certificates issued as part of an inspection (for example veterinary certificate). This is instead charged by the INE charge

Switch Transport Document Service

This service is provided by the carrier to 'switch' transport documents (B/L's) to show new parties by issuing a 2nd set of documents. A 'switch' is used to prevent the shipper from being visible to the buyer and protects the interests of the cargo intermediary. The service is applicable upon the customers request for this service

T1 Documentation Fee

This fee is applied to cover the costs related to issuing T1 documents. T1 documents are required for European Union tax regulations when transporting non-community goods between two locations in the EU Customs area. This fee is applicable for all European Union shipments and allows taxes to be suspended until the cargo reaches its final destination

Transport Document Issuance Service

This surcharge covers the administrative cost of providing a new set of BLs. It covers the issuance of BL in a location that is different from origin or destination as well as re-issuance needed for other reasons

Carrier Provided Packaging

The service of preparing the containers for the carriage of cargo like for e.g. hides and skins. Services are performed at a container yard (CY) and include manual lining of the container with plastic or moisture absorbent material, or insulation, and/or the installation of liner bags, as well as removal of the packing
